On June 11th, SNAPSHOT AIS had the honor and privilege of celebrating Juneteenth with the Natural-We Community organization and participating in their first in-person community event in 2 years. The Juneteenth Community Fair was an incredible event led and sponsored by Akua T.J Robinson, Founder and Executive Director of Natural-We Community. This spectacular organization provides programs and services to uplift, empower, encourage, heal and celebrate Black/African peoples. They provide services such as community feeding programs providing food and meals to those in the local area, also assisted by New Providence Baptist Church. Natural-We Community also includes tutoring, wellness, financial literacy, and self-care programs.
We had the opportunity to meet the owners of many outstanding small businesses, who have come together to support and improve our Black/African communities. It is essential to support organizations such as Natural-We Community, New Providence Baptist Church, and other organizations that focus on advancing the Black/African communities toward economic prosperity and self-sufficiency.
SNAPSHOT AIS would like to thank and congratulate everyone who assisted and took part in Juneteenth Community Fair. We want to give a special thanks to Akua T.J Robinson for all her time and effort, not only for this beautiful event but for all she does to improve our communities and those who live within them.
